SCOTS star Paolo Nutini's has seen his company's profits double to more than £2 million in the last year.

The Last Request singer's earnings are revealed in official documents which show he is profiting from sell-out gigs across the globe.

Paolo, from Paisley, Renfrewshire, has enjoyed chart success with songs such as New Shoes and Scream (Funk My Life Up) and his three albums which have shifted almost five million copies.

Papers lodged with Companies House show his company Paolo Nutini Touring Limited  shows he made a profit of £2,048,095 compared to £1,250,988 for the previous year.

The accounts show money generated from touring and do not include cash from royalties meaning his true wealth will be much higher.
