The Herald:

Andrew Parsons, Managing Director, Ticketmaster UK, said: “As expected, there was a remarkable demand for tickets to The Stone Roses.

"The Ticketmaster website did not crash under the pressure, and we thank all of the fans for their patience. We had thousands of fans queuing on the website and our call centre was buzzing. If it had been a real queue, it would have stretched all the way round the M60 through to the Mancunian Way. We are pleased to say there are many happy Stone Roses devotees out there today who got their hands on a ticket, and there are still some great tickets available for the Wednesday June 15th show.”
