Man dies after van crashes in the Highlands
A man has died after the van he was driving left the road and went down an embankment near Strathy in the Highlands.
Niall Gunn, 25, from Strathy, died following the one-vehicle incident on the A836.
Police Scotland were called to the scene at about 8.50pm on Sunday.
The force said: "It was established that a van had left the carriageway and had come to rest down an embankment.
"Sadly, as a result of the collision, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was found to have died."
