THERE'S something fishy about this ...

A shed load of fish is slowing traffic on the A737 at Johnstone, in Renfrewshire.

A lorry has shed its load over the west bound carriageway, with scores of slippery fish littering the lane.

Traffic Scotland warned drivers to expect delays after the spillage shortly before 5pm.

One lane between Johnstone and Kilbarchan was closed, with cones surrounding the fish, while a clean-up operation was launched.

Traffic Scotland Tweeted a photograph of the fish, saying: "Lane 2 btwn Johnstone & Kilbarchan closed due to shed load of fish. Slow traffic.

"Trout you'd appreciate a photo!"
