Police detain man over "suspicious" death of 29-year-old woman
A man has been detained by police after the death of a woman at a house in West Lothian.
The 29-year-old died yesterday at a property in Mid Calder. Officers said the death was being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police in West Lothian are investigating following the death of a 29-year-old woman at an address in Calder House Road, Mid Calder, on Wednesday October 28.
"The death is being treated as suspicious and a man is currently detained in connection with this investigation."
