VIDEO: The wonder goal that made a Fife girl an internet sensation
A TALENTED teenage girl footballer's wonder goal from 40 yards has become an internet sensation after being caught on video.
Tiegan Clark, 17, from Kirkcaldy, did the unthinkable when she lobbed the keeper to score for Raith Rovers Ladies and Girls FC under 17s at Edinburgh’s Easter Road stadium.
Nearly 46,000 people have taken a peek at the lob into the net since the club posted the video on its Facebook page.
The goal came in the50th minute of an East/South East League decider against Hibs Girls under 17s, when the team were down 2-0.
But it did not stop the girls losing the match 3-2. The clip was filmed by Youth Football Scotland.
Raith Rovers Ladies and Girls FC described it as a "special goal".
