A DOG attacked and killed another dog in a park in Fife.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack, in Cotlands Park, Kennoway, at around 10.30pm on Friday when a white terrier with brown spots killed a poodle.

The owner of the terrier is described as being a woman with black leggings and a black top. She had dark hair tied in a bun on the top of her head.

Inspector Tom Brown said: “We are following a positive line of inquiry however we would welcome the assistance of the public.

“In particular, there were a number of men in the park at the time who may have seen the incident and we are appealing to them to come forward."
