A MAN was attacked after he confronted a group of teenagers who pelted his car.

The 21-year-old victim suffered a serious head injury and was treated in hospital after being set upon by three men in the Partick area of Glasgow on Saturday afternoon.

Police say he was driving his red Vauxhall Corsa on Crow Road, towards Partick ,when items were thrown at the car by the three teenagers.

The driver followed them as they ran off along Marlborough Avenue.

And when he got out of the car he was attacked, say police.

The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and has since been released.

Officers want to speak to three men in connection with the incident.

The first is described as white, late teens, 6 ft tall, with blond wavy hair. He was wearing a light grey/vanilla coloured t-shirt.

The second is described as white, late teens, skinny build with blond hair. He was wearing a grey jumper, possibly with a Hollister logo on the front, and dark jeans.

The third is described as Asian, late teens, skinny build, broad shoulders, with facial stubble and short black hair. He was wearing a green t-shirt and blue chinos.

Detective David Hardie from Partick CID said: “Crow Road would have been busy around the time of the incident and we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed three youths throwing items at a car.

“I understand they may also have been in possession of alcohol and I would appeal to anyone who saw three youths matching the descriptions in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.

“Officers are carrying out enquiries including examining CCTV and speaking to local residents."
