A WOMAN and man were taken to hospital after a car crashed into a wall in Airdrie.
Fire crews helped the woman who had become trapped in the car after the collision on Commonside Street around 6.20am today.
They cut off the roof of the vehicle to make space to free her.
A man had already left the car and was treated by paramedics on site, before both casualties were taken to Monklands Hospital.
