Motorway gridlock after M8 crash
COMMUTERS were caught up in rush-hour chaos today after a crash on Scotland's busiest motorway.
The accident sparked tailbacks on the M8 and M80 in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to the accident, which happened shortly before 9am today.
Traffic was gridlocked at the M8 Junction 16 off-slip at Springburn.
It also caused knock on delays for motorist travelling on the M80 into Glasgow.
