A man has been charged after police seized cannabis worth more than £100,000 in a raid in West Lothian.

Officers searched a commercial property at Mill Road industrial estate in Linlithgow and recovered almost 13kg of the drug yesterday.

The recovered cannabis has a potential street value of £123,000.

A 29-year-old man who was arrested and charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act has appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court.

Detective Sergeant Kirsty McArthur said: "This is a significant seizure of cannabis, which will now be destroyed before it could be distributed within our communities."
