Kevin Bartlet
A body found near a village has been formally identified as that of a missing man.
Kevin Bartlet, 32, had last been seen at about 12.30pm on Monday in the Ellon area of Aberdeenshire.
His body was discovered near Tyrie, Aberdeenshire, at 11.15pm yesterday. Police said there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.
In a statement issued through police, his family said: "We would like to thank all those who shared the appeal and everyone on social media for the help received during the search for Kevin, our beloved son, brother and uncle.
"Sadly, the search is over and we ask that we are now left in peace to come to terms with our loss."
