Body of missing woman recovered from car in water on Isle of Seil
A missing woman's body has been recovered from a car spotted in the water near to a ferry slip.
Police were called to the scene near the Cuan ferry slip on the Isle of Seil in Argyll and Bute at around 7.20am today.
The car was recovered from the water and the body of an 85-year-old woman was found inside it.
Police said that a post mortem examination will take place, however there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
The woman had been reported missing earlier.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
