The Duchess of Cornwall has donated her souvenir Andy Murray wristband to be auctioned online - with the tennis star picking the charity which will benefit.

Camilla, who is a passionate tennis fan, received the sweaty memento after watching Britain's top player in action last week.

Murray threw the souvenir in celebration towards the royal spectator after his second round victory against Dutchman Robin Haase.

It was caught by All England Club chairman Philip Brook, who then passed it to his guest Camilla.

Murray has chosen the good cause which will benefit from the online auction, the Animal Care Trust, the Royal Veterinary College's registered charity.

Camilla has been been its patron for the past ten years and has a keen interest in animal welfare.
