MIDSUMMER is normally more associated with sunshine and strawberries rather than skiing and snow but this group of outdoor enthusiasts found what they were looking for on the Nevis Range.

Chris Tiso, chief executive of the Tiso Group, led a team of adventurous skiers for some action on the longest day and discovered some quality spring snow on the steep Goose run.

Mr Tiso said: "The skiing at Nevis Range was fantastic. It was great to get back on to the skis again after such a great season in Scotland; a perfect activity for Midsummer's Day.

"We even managed to get a run down the snow on one of our mountain bikes." Picture: PA
