SAUSAGE skin-maker Devro has completed the acquisition of its Cutisin subsidiary in the Czech Republic. The firm, based
in Moodiesburn near Glasgow, previously owned 96% of Cutisin before beginning the process to buy 100% of the unit last year. In a statement, Devro said independently-assessed compensation of (pounds) 2.1m would be paid to the former minority shareholders. Cutisin saw volume increases of more than 10% in the first half of Devro's financial year.
