EOIN JESS, the former Aberdeen and Scotland midfielder, was last night freed by Nottingham Forest along with the Scottish under-21 prospects Chris Doig and Gregor Robertson.
Jess, 34, spent three years at the City Ground and joined on a free from Bradford City, but was told he was surplus to requirements by the Forest coach, Gary Megson, after his side were relegated into English League One.
