Open plan to the kitchen, the morning room also has double glass doors to the sun lounge. A bright, well proportioned space, the morning room has a maple floor, fitted oak storage cupboards and a work/display top, and a staircase which leads down to the basement.

Redesigned by an architect, the kitchen is bordered by windows on three sides - including a full height window. It features a ceramic tiled floor, open beam celing and oak units and worksurfaces.

Dominating the ground floor bedroom is a Glasgow-style fireplace and overmantle. The bathroom, with a ceramic tiled floor and wall tiling to picture rail level, has a four- piece suite incorporating a corner bath and shower unit.
