THE parents of ecstasy victim Leah Betts yesterday shared their heartbreak with schoolchildren in West Dunbartonshire and pleaded with the youngsters not to throw away their lives by trying drugs.

At the first of a series of anti-drug seminars the couple urged the children to spare families the agony of watching their children suffer. Mr Paul Betts, 52, and his wife, Jan, 49, will address more than 1300 pupils from seven secondary schools in the area.
