SHOULD you ever find yourself in Charlotte, North Carolina, then can I recommend you pop into the Canine Cafe, details of which are available at Barbara's Canine Catering site, located at http://www.k9treat.com The cafe has a European style outdoor seating area for the dogs to enjoy and there's lovely pictures of mutts appreciating their pawty buffet - Barbara's words not mine - resplendent in tropical shirts, straw hats and ''cool'' sunglasses.

It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
