THE University of Aberdeen is to enter into merger negotiations with the city's campus of Northern College, it was announced last night.
The move came after a task force was set up to look into the idea. Principal C Duncan Rice said: ''The task force has constructed a strong academic case for adding teacher education and training to the university's portfolio.''
