POLICE have issued a warrant for the arrest of a man in connection with the death of a 52-year-old mother of four in a Glasgow council housing scheme.
The body of Catherine McKinlay, known as Irene, was found in the early hours of yesterday morning at her house in Halliburton Road, Easterhouse.
Her husband, John, 53, is in a ''critical'' condition in the intensive care unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, suffering from severe injuries to his body.
The couple lived in their ground-floor flat with their three daughters, one aged 25, and the others aged 13 and 15. A son, in his early 20s, lives away from home. The teenagers are being looked after by relatives.
