THREE men are expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court today in connection with the seizure of thousands of allegedly counterfeit #1 coins. Up to 4000 coins and manufacturing equipment were found at Orchard Farm, near Bellshill, Lanarkshire, police said yesterday.
The men, aged 38, 43 and 47, were arrested following Operation Brasso, which involved 30 police officers.
