A SHORTAGE of genuine Teletubbies toys for the Christmas market has led to dangerous fake models flooding the market which could pose a safety risk to children, Trading Standards officials warned yesterday. A toddler in Essex nearly choked to death when she bit the nose off one such toy and many other fake Teletubbies items could be unsafe, the officials added.
