A WALKER who fell on to rocks from a clifftop on Sunday night has died in hospital in Aberdeen. Mr Alan Fotheringham, 36, of Thorsdale View, Thurso, failed to recover consciousness after sustaining severe head injuries in the 25ft fall. He had been walking with his younger brother when he slipped and fell near the former US Navy Base at West Murkle.
