A MAN who dressed up as Daffy Duck for a gala day parade was stabbed later, a court heard yesterday. Mark Berry, 22, told the High Court in Glasgow how he took off his costume before being stabbed in his colon and bowel.
His brother Greig, 18, told how he was also stabbed during the melee in Strathaven, Lanarkshire, last June. Mr Lee Wilson, 18, of 50 Dovecastle Drive, Strathaven, denies stabbing Greig and Alan Clark,19, and of attempting to murder Mark.
Greig told the court: ''Lee Wilson stabbed me in the legs and I saw my brother lying over railings with blood coming from his side.'' The trial continues.
