DETECTIVES are hunting a man who tried to snatch a 17-year-old girl as she walked her dogs on a country road. The man tried to bundle her into a car on Easter Whin Road, near Linhouse Farm, Avonbridge, Stirlingshire. The terrified teenager battled with her attacker and ran to a nearby farm for help. Falkirk CID said she was slightly hurt in the attack at 4.30pm last Sunday.
Police are appealing for witnesses and are keen to speak to the drivers of three cars in the area at the time: a silver grey Vauxhall Astra, a silver Ford Fiesta and a grey Ford Escort. The man police are hunting is described as 40-50 years old, medium build with short dark hair.
