YOU have had a good season but it's October, the nights are drawing in and visitors are thin on the ground.

The present owners of the Ardvasar Hotel on Skye have plumped for the latter course, but with nine letting rooms, all en-suite, lots of character and a homely atmosphere the potential for winter earnings is undoubtedly there.
