I ENJOYED Jack Webster's column about the Exhibition in Bellahouston Park (May 4). Unfortunately, the present park manager has decided that two great treasures of the modern park are to be guarded by obstructions so severe that I will not visit either of them again. The House for an Art Lover and the beautiful walled garden are now out of bounds for me.

I made three telephone calls to register my protest, which is now on an answering machine somewhere, but perhaps when the tourist buses and taxis stop risking their suspensions and sumps, and the revenue for the house and cafe falls significantly, the driveway sleepers will be modified. I hope there will be a notice in the paper when that happens.
