A decision will be taken today on whether operations can restart at a hospital after more than 40 theatre staff were hit by an eye infection. The incident led to the cancellation of dozens of non-urgent operations at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. Officials hope to return to normal working towards the end of the week.
