A SEX attacker who returned to the scene of his crime after abducting and indecently as-saulting a teenage girl was ordered to be detained for five and a half years yesterday.

Ross Dewar, 18, of The Heathery, in Dunfermline, who had been drinking Buckfast wine and vodka, seized the 17-year-old, marched her to a public park and trussed her up before subjecting her to a sex ordeal.

He left the girl bound and naked in Pittencrieff Park on a February night and fled but he returned the following morning and was caught after he approached police officers who had cordoned off the scene.

He told them he had been with a girl in the area and had a key which belonged her. It was the victim's front door key.

Dewar, a paper mill worker, admitted his offence.
