FALKIRK are set to remain at their crumbling Brockville ground for next season.

They played what they thought would be their final match at the old park last Saturday against Airdrie, and it seemed certain they would be groundsharing with Stenhousemuir or East Stirlingshire.

Now Brockville could be handed a stay of execution for one more season. General manager Jim Hendry said: ''The ground can hold 7500 and we would be quite happy to stay here while a new stadium, hopefully, is getting built.

''But we have to wait until we are under new ownership, which may happen this weekend. The liquidator has been in meetings this week and we can only keep our fingers crossed.''

A consortium hoping to buy the club is led by PR executive Colin Liddell.
