Kenneth Starr said yesterday US Secret Service agents must testify in the probe of alleged White House sex and perjury, but opponents argued this could risk the president's life.
''The Secret Service is a law enforcement agency; its officers are proud that they have been sworn to uphold the law,'' Starr said at a federal court hearing. As such, Starr argued, the agents were obliged to testify.
