n This morning at 10am, a small group of Scottish Austin-Healey club members leave the Mull of Galloway on a tour to Dunnet Head, a genuine southernmost-to-northernmost run through mainland Scotland, disregarding the usual side-step to John O'Groats.

Today's route takes the cars via Biggar and the Forrestburn hill climb course, then on to Blairgowrie. Saturday's run is by Glenshee and the Lecht towards Culloden and a stop in Ullapool. Monday's route goes via Durness and the north coast into Caithness.

Cars taking part include Sprites and 3000s, and one of the rare Riley-engined Westland models from Healey's pre-Austin days.

n Doune Motor Museum hosts a Classic Autofair on Sunday. Starting at 10am, it features a major concourse event as well as a classic car auction. It is also the finish point for a series of runs.
