THE complaints emanating from North Charlotte Street of typical English bias from the BBC echo with the familiar sounds of SNP paranoia.

When Question Time last visited Glasgow neither the Scottish Conservative Party not the Liberal Democrats were represented by a professional politician. Indeed, the Lib-Dems did not even have the luxury of a ''celebrity'' supporter to carry their cause forward. Despite this neither party complained, recognising that in a democracy you don't always get your own way.

If this is a sample of the childish and bullying behaviour that the new politics of a possibly SNP-dominated Scottish Parliament will bring us, then Heaven help the people of Scotland.
