FORMER Great Britain Rugby League captain Shaun Edwards, 31, who lives in Wigan and plays for Bradford Bulls, has been charged with assault following an incident outside a pizza restaurant, West Yorkshire Police said yesterday.
Team-mate Tahi Reihana was charged in connection with the same incident outside Pizza Express, High Street, Wibsey, near Bradford, on April 27. Both are to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on June 15.
Edwards, who has made 36 Test appearances for Great Britain, was awarded on OBE in 1996.
