PITTENCRIEFF Resources, the Scottish oil exploration minnow searching for a major acquisition, has slimmed down its portfolio of US interests still further, selling its 50% stake in part of the Corpus Christi gas field in Texas for $3.5m. The proceeds will be used to reduce borrowings.
Pittencrieff is run by the former management team of Clyde Petroleum, headed by Roy Franklin.
