Brian Wilson, the Minister responsible for tourism, yesterday welcomed moves by the chairman of Highlands and Islands Enterprise to press for better pay and conditions for many people working in Scotland's #2500m tourist industry.
Fraser Morrison has launched an initiative which could see poor payers in the holiday trade lose out on grants and loans of taxpayers' money unless they improve workers' conditions.
