SO the Rev John Young, of Airdrie, is again hearing early cuckoos (May 16). It might indeed be delightful to hear one or two cuckoos at this time of the year and I think John Young was simply expressing the joys of early summer.
The Assembly Hall will be full of cuckoos this week. The voices of these cuckoos will pontificate upon the lottery, denominational schools, Israel, etc. If certain ministers had ears attuned to God and His Word, instead of cuckoos, the Kirk would be in a healthier condition.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
