THE Duke of Edinburgh is again to compete at the Drumlanrig Castle Horse Driving Trials at Thornhill, near Dumfries, this year. He heads an impressive national and international entry including world silver medallist George Bowman, from Penrith, and the reigning European champion and British national pony teams champion gold medallist Georgina Frith.
The BNFL-sponsored trials and country show is now Scotland's biggest three day event and takes place from July 10 to 12.
