SCOTLAND's Jamie Murray confirmed his place among the top 12- and-under players in Europe when he won the singles and doubles titles at the Passagespoirs International Tournament in Agen, France.
Murray, from Dunblane, beat Simon Calvalido (Italy) 6-3, 7-5 and Andreas Eichenberger (Switzerland) 6-0, 6-3, to reach the quarter-final stage, where he dismissed Thomas Peyrat (France) 6-4, 6-3. Murray then overcame Denis Matsukevic (Russia) 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 before defeating Spain's Marcel Granollers 6-0, 3-6, 6-3, in the final.
The Scot added the doubles title with his younger brother, Andrew, 11, beating Czech pair Jan Langer and Martin Plucha 7-6, 7-5 in a quarter-final, French pair Josselyn Ouanna and Tomas Rebeix 6-2, 6-3 in the last four, and then upset top seeded Spaniards Granolleres and David Diaz 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 in the final.

Athletics
HERIOT Watt University student Catherine Garden, who has bettered the Scottish record for the hammer three times this season, competes on Sunday as a member of a Scottish elite team in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and will be aiming to better the hammer qualifying standard for Commonwealth Games selection.
She will be accompanied by British universities champion Ian McGurk and Chris Carson (both 400m) with Katy Sketchley (100m hurdles) and Paul Walker (800m).
Cycling
Julian Winn, of Wales, won the fourth stage of the Prutour of Britain after sharing a brave 79-mile breakaway with Kevin Dawson, of the Great Britain team.
The pair opened an eight-minute lead over the main pack at the summit of the main climb of the day, the seven-mile Cat and Fiddle in Derby-shire.Placings:
