THE bench in the old ''blood and custard'' colours of ScotRail on which Irishman Leslie Kee and Michelle Barness from Yorkshire sat at Prestwick station the night they met is being gifted to them by the company as a wedding present. Mr Kee, 47, had tried to buy it, and ScotRail responded to ''a good love story''.

It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
