SCOTS-born novelist Dame Muriel Spark, world-renowned flautist James Galway, and Oscar-winning actor Paul Scofield are among those who will receive honorary doctorates from St Andrews University this summer, it was announced yesterday.
A total of seven honorary degrees will be conferred by Scotland's oldest university during a series of five graduation ceremonies next month.
