IT may not have the splendour of Wembley, Hampden or the Stade de France, but Newlandsfield Park in the South Side of Glasgow, was the venue for Scotland's World Cup heroes last night.
Craig Brown and 21 of the 22-strong squad gathered at the home of Pollok Juniors FC for a final training session - and a send off from Scottish Secretary Donald Dewar - before heading for France today.
