A PAIR of red ballet shoes worn by Scottish actress and dancer Moira Shearer as Victoria Page in one of the most successful film musicals of all time, The Red Shoes, is set to fetch up to #8000 at Christie's in London, on December 12.
The size three-and-a-half shoes are being sold by Mr Thomas Smith, who worked as a make-up artist in the 1948 movie to the Dunfermline-born star. One of the shoes is inscribed on the sole to Tom.
