ENVIRONMENTAL campaigners yesterday urged Scots to have a ''green'' Christmas. Friends of the Earth Scotland (FoES) said people should use recycled cards and wrapping paper to protect woodlands. It added that Scots were expected to get through 25,000 trees by sending millions of cards and using 740 tonnes of wrapping paper. A spokesman criticised leading stores for failing to sell environmentally-friendly products.
