MIM Livingston upset Danish champions Skovlund by taking a 74-62 lead
in the first leg of their European Cup first-round tie in Denmark last
night. The Scottish champions led 44-26 at half-time, and with coach Ian
Gordon running all his bench, they were able to control the match and
set up a comfortable lead for the return at The Forum on Thursday.
Top scorers for MIM were Steve Hoffman with 18 points, Lewis Young 17,
new American signing Lou Bryant 13, and Graeme Hill 12. For the Danes,
American Ken Smith scored 17.
