IT HAS become fashionable to criticise British business for its lack

of response to the 1992 changes in the EC, but determined initiatives

from individual companies nonetheless emerge from time to time.

Now a Glasgow firm of architects has forged a link with a Dutch design

company in a joint bid to expand their workloads throughout Europe.

Monro & Partners of Glasgow and Bushey in Hertfordshire has reached

agreement to form joint UK and Dutch companies with EGM International,

one of Holland's multi-disciplinary design consultancies.

Both practices are now actively progressing proposals for a range of

large commercial and urban regeneration schemes on sites throughout the

EC.
