McMILLAN William (Bill) The family are sad to announce that William (Bill) McMillan died peacefully on 1st October 2024, aged 91. He is survived by his loving wife Ann, their children Colin, Stuart, Robin and Marie and 8 grandchildren. Bill was a longstanding and very proud member of Royal Troon Golf Club, a keen gardener and DIY enthusiast. He was awarded an MBE for his contribution to Industry in 1987 whilst successfully managing W&J Knox Ltd and by retirement was a Regional Chairman for Cosalt Industries UK. He was very proud of his long career in Textiles and Engineering. Bill will be dearly missed by family, friends and past colleagues. Funeral service will take place on Friday 25th October at Our Lady of the Assumption & St Meddan's Church, Troon at 10am, and thereafter at Masonhill Crematorium at 12 noon. No flowers please, donations if desired to Teenage Cancer Trust.
