BISHOP - Jean (née Bonner) Falklander. Feminist. Teacher. Extraordinary Chef. Lover. Wife. Mother. Grandmother. Died peacefully in her sleep, after 90 years of a life well lived, leaving Gordon, her husband of 60 years, sons Alastair and Hugh, daughters in law Jennifer and Claire, and grandchildren Iona, Euan, Angus and Áine. She will be missed. Funeral service at 12.30pm on Thursday 29th August 2024, Alex Black Funeral Care, 7 Peel Glen Road, Glasgow, thereafter to Western Necropolis, arriving 1.30pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers to Refuweegee.
